Getting Started

 

    Introduction

To use aspNetPOP3 you will need to download and run the aspNetPop3.msi file available from www.aspNetPOP3 .com.

    Running the MSI file

Download and run the aspNetPOP3 .msi file. This installation wizard unpacks the aspNetPOP3 .dll (the only managed assembly in aspNetPOP3 ) to the default directory of C:\Program Files\AdvancedIntellect\aspNetPOP3 .

 

Installing

The wizard also unpacks this aspNetPOP3.chm help file, installs the aspNetPOP3 in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) and installs some menu shortcuts under
Start | Programs | Advanced Intellect.

 

Uninstalling

If you are testing aspNetPOP3 , and have installed the evaluation version, and will be purchasing the production version, you will need to uninstall this version from Start | Control Panel | Add Remove Programs. This will prevent namespace collision, and someone accidentally referencing the expired, evaluation version.
